In order to install Pro CFW on your PSP, you will need to first update your PSP to the 6.60 Sony firmware (which, at the time of this writing, is the latest firmware released by Sony), if that’s not already the case. Skip this step if you already have Firmware 6.60 installed on your PSP. Note: On the Sony released PSP firmware 6.61, some three and a half years after the last 6.60 update. The PSP Custom Firmware 6.61-Pro-C2 will work on all PSP models from the original PSP to the PSP Go and even the E1000, all you need is to be running the official 6.60 or 6.61 firmware to install and use this custom firmware.
